So I woke up and my breasts were very tender. Now this has been common the last few months, since my miscarriage, but this time it lasted longer. So I took the test and Bam! There was a faint pink second line. I was very surprised! I got a blood test and had an HCG of 26. Just barely +! Thoses modern expensive HPTs are sensitive!
I was also put on thyroid medicine for subclinical (mild) hypothyroidism. Now this is very important because low thyroid hormones can cause infertility and miscarriage, etc. The cure? Take a small pill every morning. Don't eat for 2-3 hours before the pill or 1 hour after the pill. Check your thyroid levels frequently to ensure that the meds are working and settle on the correct dose. So this is probably a lifetime pill I have to take, but such a simple solution!
